5G LAUNCH
New technologies are constantly disrupting the marketplace and 5G has the potential to be one of the biggest of all. The speed of uploads and downloads that it promises is going to change the way we interact with our world, from realtime AR and VR to safe autonomous vehicles and the rise of the internet of things.
To generate excitement in the marketplace of its impending rollout, Optus commissioned us to execute the 'Giant leap' campaign. Art directed by Re Agency, we worked in Maya, After Effects and Photoshop to create the astronaut as they're just about to touch down; reflecting the imminent launch of the new technology.

The campaign was rolled out online and OOH.
The model was rigged and weighted to allow freedom to repose easily as the brief evolved.
For this uncommissioned image, we had some fun and made our 5G astronaut land and turn up for work!
